The Plot

Grab your skateboard and get ready to race around the city of Crustville! You work for
Mr. Ravioli, the greatest pizza chef in town, and it's your job to deliver his tasty
pizzas to the people of the city.

Playing the Game

The goal of each level is to collect enough coins to make Mr. Ravioli happy. You need
to return to him with at least 3 coins for each pizza delivered. Luckily, your
customers are nice people and always leave a tip so you end up getting 5 coins per delivery.

If you happen to collide with one of the baddies on the streets, you will lose a coin.
Be careful not to lose too many, as Mr. Ravioli will unhappy and you have to replay
the stage...

Follow the arrow at the top of the screen to find your customers. When all pizzas
have been delivered, head for the exit sign at your very right to finish the stage.

The Town Map

After each stage you will return to the town map, where you can see all available
stages and choose which one to play. When you have successfully completed a
stage, new stages will open up on the map. The normal stages are red coloured,
while the bonus stages are green. You will also find Mr. Raviolis pizzeria on the map.
Enter it to get useful hints from the pizza man himself!

A question mark will show over stages that are not yet completed. The question mark
will turn into a row of stars after completion, where the amount of yellow stars tells
how well you did. The best rank is four yellow stars!

On the map you will also find presents, obstacles and animal cages. These can be
opened when you have finished a specific goal, such as getting x number of stars on
a stage. Hold the mouse over an object to see what you need to do in order to open
it!

Controls

You can play the game using either the mouse or the keyboard, as well as a joystick
if you activate it through the options menu!

Slide the mouse to the left or right to move the player, and press the left mouse
button to jump. If you rather play by keyboard, move the player by using the arrow
keys, and jump with the "Ctrl" key.
You can also duck by pressing the right mouse button or the down arrow key.
Ducking allows you to avoid some enemies.

Each stage contains a bunch of baddies. You want to avoid these as
much as possible. To get rid of them, make a jump and allow yourself to stomp on them. But
be careful - some enemies such as the hedgehog and the crab can't be stomped!

To move on the town map you can either point and click using the mouse, or navigate
manually by the arrow keys on the keyboard. Click on a stage or press enter on the
keyboard while standing on it to play.

Useful hint: You can press the "Esc" key at any time to open up a menu where you
can exit the game or restart the current stage.

Bonus Races

Some stages on the map are green. These are bonus stages, which are different from
normal stages. Instead of delivering pizzas, you participate in a wild race for pickups!
You can not control the motion of the pizza boy on the bonus stages. The only thing
you can do is jump.

The goal is to collect as many pickups as possible. You can take many routes, and
it's up to you to figure out the best way to take to get the highest amount of pickups!
At the end of the race you will see how many pickups you got. If you played well you
will earn extra stars! Are you good enough to get all four stars?

Stars, Coins & Points

Each stage in the game is worth 4 stars. You can see on the map how many stars
you have earned on each stage. To get all 4 stars you need to be a good player:

  • Star 1: You get this star automatically when you complete a stage.

  • Star 2: If you manage to return to the pizza shop with all coins, you get your second star!

  • Star 3: Each stage contains a lot of pickups. Collect them all to get another star!

  • Star 4: To get the final star you must find the special red hot chili pepper on each stage! It can be tricky to find, so search every bit of the stage carefully!
To get all stars on the bonus stages you must collect as many pickups as you
possibly can! There are a total of 252 stars in the game. Do you have what it takes to
get them all?!

Profiles

The game contains 6 profiles. Each profile has its own game progress and score, so
each family member can play their own game. Before you start the game you will see
the profile selection screen. Each profile has its own colour. To play the game,
simply press the "play" button for the profile you wish to play as.

Each profile shows how many stars and coins have been collected. You can rename
a profile by clicking on its name. If you would like to clear a profile and begin the
game from the beginning again, click on the round button marked X for that profile.

Hints

  • Hold the jump button when you stomp enemies and you'll make a high jump off them!

  • Press the Esc button to show a menu!

  • It's great fun to play bonus stages together with friend and see who can get the most pickups!

  • It's possible to stand on many things in the game. Don't be afraid to try!

  • Most enemies walk in patterns. Try to learn their patterns. This will make it easier to avoid them!

  • If you can't find the next customer to deliver your pizza to, don't forget that you can follow the arrow at the top of the screen.

  • If you have completed everything in the game, play the bonus levels again, but this time try to get as *little* pickups as possible! It's not as easy as it sounds...!

  • You can change the sound and music volume at the options screen, available from the title screen. You can also enable window mode instead of fullscreen mode here.

  • Look at the top right corner on the game screen to see how many pizzas you have left to deliver!

  • Different items and enemies give different amount of score when you take them.
